Four capacities -- Four standard capacities from 10,000 pounds (4,500 kg) to 100,000 pounds (45,000 kg). Multiple uses -- Monitor cable in overhead lifting applications or guy wire applications, for example. Simple design -- The instrument consists of two roller bearing ourter sheaves and a fixed center clamping point attached to a Dillon loadcell. The rope applies tension force to the loadcell. Full range of pulley sizes available -- Correct pulley size must match both the size and type of rope to be monitored by the tensiometer. For greatest accuracy, your tensiometer will be calibrated specifically to the rope size you specify.
