Wire and Cord Grip

Recommended for soft wires. Will hold solid wire as well as cord up to 1/4" diameter. Specimen loops around generous size hubs which minimize improper breaking. Upper grip comes with ball socket connector screw. Each grip measures 6" long by 2 1/4" wide by 2 3/16" thick.

Meets ASTM specification E-8 and Federal specification CCC-T-191 lb, Method 4102-3.1.1.

Molded Plastic and Hard Rubber Grip

Used with "dog-bone" specimens. Back plate assures proper insertion. Carefully machined for rapid positioning and removal of materials. Self- aligning.

Adhesive Test Fixture

Total working diameter of 3". Upper and lower sections are equipped with inner, hardened steel face plates which are ground smooth and flat. Face plates are removable for re-grinding or cleaning when necessary. Specimens are glued to plates, allowed to set and are then pulled apart. Ball socket connector screw provides self alignment.

Compression Cage

Accepts specimens up to 6" square. Available with daylight openings from 4" to 38". Most sizes require a testing machine with a 29" or 39" daylight opening. Inner platens close against test object as load is applied. Pressure columns are machined from centerless ground steel and are guided in ball bushings to minimize friction. Self aligning.

General Utility Yoke

Fixture with a variety of uses. Supplied with hardened locking pins. Check tear strength of punched specimens, electrical connectors, casting holes, stampings, etc. Slot is 3/8" wide by 1 3/4" deep. Pin diameter is 1/2".
